SHORT Wrap up
Photographs by Denis Wilson - Thanks Denis.
Well, that was the 10th BVIT national competition. Eighteen months to
prepare; done in 3 days!
Thank You to everyone who contributed to a very successful event. Without the efforts of our partners, families, carers, etc, we would not be able to consider holding this event, let alone have such a successful outcome.

At the six national events I have entered, there have been three people who have made the whole thing happen; Gail Underwood, Eileen Scott and Louise Eady.
We would all like to acknowledge their time, effort and committment to the BVIT national competitions.

A big Thanks to Jason Lambert of Aspley bowl who turned his centre over to our competition for 3 days, and also attended the presentation dinner. Nothing was a fuss for Jason!! Thanks for contribution to our event Jason.
And a really really big thanks to Shiralee Gray and staff in the Café who provided fantastic food and memorable munchies. The coffee Deana made me first thing on Wednesday morning resulted in a rare 200 game! Thanks Deana.

The Annual General Meeting was held on Tuesday after bowling, followed by a discussion on BVIT's future direction.
The newly elected committee will be meeting shortly to look at all the suggestions from the forum. We'll write to you with progress reports as we go.
The week concluded at the Kedron-Wavell Services club with the presentation of medals and trophies, and quite a nice meal, although the absence of Coopers's beer at the bar was noted.
Thanks to Rhian and Jodie Patching for table gifts and some fabulous raffle items.
Tim Wilson would also like to thank Matt Bryant for his Jason Belmonte shirt; thanks to everyone who contributed to very popular outcome !!
I hope you all arrived home safe, and more importantly, in good health.
Good luck with your future plans. Keep striving for those high scores and we’ll hope to see you all again in two years’ time at the eleventh national event.
